Supplemental Instruction (SI) in Introductory Biology

The Supplemental Instruction program (SI) offers peer-led group study sessions with three objectives: 1) to improve student study skills; 2) to provide a supportive, structured environment that will retain students who might otherwise be at risk of leaving the sciences; and 3) to provide students with peer mentors, who counsel SI participants about advanced science courses and strategies for completing requirements for postgraduate study.
