Research Apprenticeship Seminar

The goal of the Research Apprenticeship Seminar is to increase student participation in scientific research early in their college careers. The seminar introduces incoming students to Barnard’s science research culture as soon as they arrive on campus. Students participate in a year-long seminar and complete two month-long rotations shadowing older students in Barnard faculty labs.

A list of RAS Apprentices who have participated summer and/or academic year research projects with support from HHMI is provided below with links to abstracts of their experience.
